Research shows that the most effective way to lose weight is to combine cardiovascular exercise with weight training. Basic Training is a simple, easy-to-follow, yet demanding class that tones every major body part and also strengthens your heart and fights against cardiovascular disease!
The class consists of slow, controlled movements with weights to tone and strengthen every part of the body and get a healthy heart. The class incorporates the use of a step bench, hand weights, and resistance bands and balls.
The class meets on Saturdays 9:30am - 10:45am and runs in 4-week sessions.

Pilates
Improve your posture, strength and flexibility
A body-conditioning technique designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. Pilates targets the deep postural muscles within the body through a series of exercises aimed at building muscle strength and rebalancing the body.
Excellent for improving posture, strength and flexibility and aligning the body correctly, Pilates also teaches coordination, concentration and control of the body. Most individuals need to strengthen the core muscles (muscles that stabilize and support the spine). Core strength is an essential part of maintaining posture, balance, functional movement and a healthy pliable body.
The class meets on Tuesdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm and runs in a 4-week session.

Pump 'n' Ball
Intense Strength and Cardio Workout
A full body strength workout with a cardio component, the ball activates your core muscles during every exercise. This class emphasizes general skills on the stability ball to strengthen, stabilize, and stretch the body in a fresh way.
You will incorporate the intensity of resistance training with free weights, body bars and exercise bands. The cardiovascular component is added to give a complete full-body workout and teaches you the basics of staying in shape. If your new to working out or just want to spice up your workout, you’ll enjoy this class.
The class meets on Mondays 7:00pm – 8:00pm and runs in a 4-week session.

Line Dancing
Intense Strength and Cardio Workout
A great, fun way to get fit and burn some unwanted fat!!! If you’re having trouble deciding on a fitness program that you can stick with, maybe dancing would appeal to you. Learn some of the latest, as well as some of the old favorites, such as Electric Slide, Bootie Call, Cleveland Shuffle, Detroit Hustle and many more. There will be step by step instruction.. All ages are welcome.
The class meets on Saturdays 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and runs in a 4-week session.
